# Starc confronts Mehidy as Bangladesh dominate Darwin Test

Bangladesh ended day two of the first Test in Darwin at 351 for six, leading Australia by 153 runs with four wickets in hand. Tanzid Hasan scored 101, becoming the first Bangladeshi to make a Test century in Australia, while Najmul Hossain Shanto made 84. Hasan Mahmud had earlier taken six wickets as Australia were dismissed for 198. During the 103rd over, Mehidy Hasan Miraz ran through the protected central area while completing a single and nearly collided with Mitchell Starc. Umpire Kumar Dharmasena warned him after Miraz said he had been watching the ball. Starc told him, “It’s my follow-through, not your follow-through. Get off the wicket.” Ricky Ponting said the move did not appear deliberate.
