# MMA to host 25th All India Management Students’ Convention on 12 October 2026-10-10T02:13:02+00:00 | Governance | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Madras Management Association will host the 25th silver jubilee edition of the All India Management Students’ Convention 2026 on Monday, 12 October, at Valluvar Kottam Auditorium in Chennai. The theme is ‘Future-Ready Leadership: Reinventing Management for a Changing World’. The Hindu is the media partner. Over 1,600 management students and faculty from across India are expected. Industry leaders confirmed include Mithun Sacheti, founder of CaratLane, and Shyam Srinivasan, senior advisor and operating partner at TVS Capital Funds. The convention includes a final of ‘Chanakya, The Mastermind’, MMA’s flagship competition: ten finalists compete on stage, and the winner gets Rs 1,00,000. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both Business Line and The Hindu report the same event with neutral wire-style framing, differing only in detail added. The Hindu provides three times the word count, adding speaker quotes, the venue (Valluvar Kottam Auditorium), a sub-theme, the ‘Chanakya, The Mastermind’ finale, cash prize and the Group’s media partnership, none of which Business Line carries. Business Line names two industry leaders the Hindu omits. The uniform coverage is straight advance-notice journalism with no slant. The concrete next step students and observers face is the convention itself on Monday, 12 October, where the Best Management Student will be crowned. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - thehindubusinessline.com (neutral report) Straight advance notice, no slant - thehindu.com (neutral report) Longer wire copy, quotes, no slant This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
