Prime Minister Narendra Modi made youth and women central to his Independence Day speech, announcing AI training for one crore young people and free online coaching for competitive examinations. He also proposed a seven-point Saptdhara framework covering manufacturing, agriculture, technology, connectivity, defence, energy and soft power. Modi urged parties to implement 33% reservation for women in Parliament and state assemblies, and warned against what he called “dimaagi naxals”.
