# Mukesh Chhabra, Bosco Martis launch digital talent hunt 2026-08-18T15:06:52+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Mukesh Chhabra and Bosco Martis have launched The Big Break, a digital-first talent competition for actors, singers and dancers across India. Entries opened on August 5 through the show’s official Instagram handle, @thebigbreakindia. Participants can submit a monologue, song or dance performance using a phone and a collaboration request. The format was developed with Rajiv Lakshman and is produced by BARD. Bollywood Hungama reports that 40 to 60 entries may be published on the show’s social media channels each day. Selected participants will later travel to Mumbai for training, weekly episodes and interactive sessions. Chhabra will mentor acting and Martis will mentor dance, while a separate singing panel will be announced later. The competition will end with an on-ground gala finale carried on digital platforms. Singers who stand out may also be considered for releases through Martis’ BLM Music label. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Bollywood Hungama presents The Big Break mainly through its creators’ promise of wider access and a digital route into entertainment. That framing gives substantial space to Chhabra and Martis’ statements, but does not examine selection criteria, commercial terms, participant safeguards or how many performers will reach the Mumbai stage. The format may widen initial access by allowing phone auditions, while publication on social platforms also makes visibility part of the contest. The practical test will be whether the announced daily intake leads to meaningful training and professional opportunities. The next points to watch are the singing panel, the number of finalists and the on-ground finale date. ## Coverage Coverage: 1 source, 1 neutral - bollywoodhungama.com (neutral report) Reports the launch, format, mentors and organisersu2019 stated plans This story was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
