# Mumbai woman biker dies in Chhattisgarh road accident

Riddhi Divyesh Thakkar, a 24-year-old from Mumbai, died after her bike was hit by an unidentified four-wheeler, suspected to be a truck, in Balod district on Wednesday. She was part of a group of 20 women bikers on a tour from Raipur to Bastar. Balod Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan said the accident occurred near Markatola Ghat. Thakkar suffered severe leg fractures and was taken to a health centre in Charama, then to a private hospital in Dhamtari where she died during treatment. The vehicle and driver remain untraced.
