# Muscular foreign tourist pedals rickshaw in Chandni Chowk, video goes viral 2026-08-25T04:07:09+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet A viral video on Instagram shows a muscular foreign tourist pedalling a cycle rickshaw through the busy streets of Delhi's Chandni Chowk while the actual rickshaw-puller sits inside as a passenger. The tourist, seen flexing his muscles and smiling, appears to be enjoying the experience as onlookers watch. The tourist's wife is also seen travelling in another rickshaw nearby. The clip, shared by Siddhi Sharma on Instagram, has amused social media users with its role reversal. However, the original source and exact details about the tourist and the incident could not be independently verified. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Viral feel-good videos from tourist hubs like Chandni Chowk routinely rack up lakhs of views, but their economic context is rarely noted. A cycle rickshaw puller in Old Delhi typically earns Rs 300 to Rs 500 a day, often renting the vehicle for a fixed fee. If the tourist compensated the puller for the lost fare, the video shows an informal income opportunity, if not, it highlights the precariousness of such daily-wage work. Instagram handles that post such clips can also monetise engagement, creating a layered transaction where a foreigner's novelty becomes content, and a worker's routine becomes a prop. The story ends with no further details. The puller's perspective and any financial arrangement remain unconfirmed. ## Coverage - odishatv.in Straight news-agency style report on a viral video, with no discernible slant and explicit caveats about unverified details This story was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
