He was addressing a public meeting after inaugurating the Seed Access Road, a 22-km, nine-lane road built at Rs 1,520 crore, and a steel bridge over the Buckingham Canal. Naidu also dedicated a newly completed residential complex for MLAs and MLCs at Rayapudi, comprising 12 towers with 288 flats. The chief minister said road infrastructure in Amaravati was being developed on the lines of planned access roads of ancient civilisations such as the Indus Valley civilisation.
