Jindal recounted his decade-long legal battle that led to the Supreme Court’s 23 January 2004 ruling establishing every Indian’s fundamental right to fly the National Flag. He said the foundation has installed over 220 monumental flags across India, starting with a 207-foot flag in Kaithal in 2009.
