# NBEMS glitch sends wrong NEET PG city alerts, issues clarification

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the NEET PG 2026 exam city allotment slip on August 11 but a technical glitch sent wrong SMS alerts to hundreds of candidates, causing confusion. Many aspirants reported receiving two different city assignments within hours, such as Gudur (Andhra Pradesh) and Noida (Uttar Pradesh). NBEMS issued a public notice acknowledging the glitch and said corrected SMSes and emails have been sent to affected candidates. It advised all candidates to verify their exam city only through the official applicant portal at natboard.edu.in. The NEET PG 2026 computer-based exam is scheduled for August 30.
