# NCP(SP) rules out NDA support, delimitation stance conditional

NCP(SP) on Monday ruled out joining the NDA and said it remains firmly in the Opposition bloc. The denial came after all eight Lok Sabha MPs of the Sharad Pawar-led party, led by working president Supriya Sule, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi to raise Maharashtra-specific issues including drought relief, Bharat Ratna for social reformers, and infrastructure projects. Party spokesperson Mahesh Tapase said the 15-minute meeting was not political and that no discussion on delimitation or the FCRA amendment took place. On delimitation, the party said its position will depend on the final Bill, and it will consult the INDIA alliance before taking a stand.
