# NCRTC proposes 72-km Ghaziabad-Jewar link to Noida airport

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation has proposed a 72.44-km corridor linking Ghaziabad with Noida International Airport at Jewar. The route would offer both Namo Bharat and Metro services, with a projected journey time of 40 to 50 minutes. Around 71.5 km is planned as elevated and 1.29 km underground, while the proposed maximum speed is 180 kmph. Eleven stations are planned for Namo Bharat and 18 for Metro services, with some stations serving both systems. Business Today puts the total at 22 physical stations. India Today says the project is still at the Detailed Project Report stage, while Business Today describes it as being in advanced approval stages. Construction has not begun, and station details may change.
