# Neuland shares hit record high after profit surge, capacity approval

Neuland Laboratories shares rose 10.2% to a record Rs 21,999 on the NSE on Thursday after the company reported its June quarter results and approved a capacity expansion in Telangana. The stock had closed at Rs 19,956. The company reported standalone profit after tax of Rs 147.36 crore for Q1FY27, up from Rs 13.71 crore a year earlier, though below Rs 212.52 crore in the March 2026 quarter. Its board approved adding 18 kilolitres of capacity at Unit 1 in Bonthapally, Sangareddy district, at a cost of Rs 39.8 crore. CEO Saharsh Davuluri said the CMS and GDS businesses performed well and that commercial products contributed most revenue.
