National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar has announced KATHE 2026, a national-level AI challenge for Kashmiri language translation. Organised by Gaash Lab in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards, with the University of Kashmir as academic partner and GitHub as sponsor, the competition aims to use artificial intelligence and natural language processing to preserve and promote the Kashmiri language.
