The annual techno-cultural festival, Anaadyanta 2025, was inaugurated at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) in Bengaluru on April 3.
Ponni Krishnamoorthy, Director of Mobile Networks at Nokia, was the chief guest. She emphasised the importance of cultural festivals in creating an empowering environment for students, and highlighted the significance of networking and collaboration for technological advancements. She also pointed out how young people’s self-reliance, fostered by the internet, equips them to face real-world challenges with confidence.
Actress and dancer Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, who was the guest of honour, spoke about the role of kindness in achieving success.
The festival united students from engineering colleges across India, providing a platform to showcase their diverse talents in both technical and artistic disciplines.
The festival featured events such as CodeWars, Treasure Hunt, Ideathon, Street Plays, Dance, and Fashion Show, which celebrated creativity and innovation.
