# Nivin Pauly, Dulquer Salmaan in talks for film reunion after 12 years 2026-08-26T09:08:57+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Nivin Pauly has said he and Dulquer Salmaan are discussing a film together, more than a decade after they last appeared in *Vikramadithyan* and *Bangalore Days*. Speaking after his latest hit *Bethlehem Kudumba Unit*, Nivin said they reconnected at an awards function. Both actors are keen, but the project needs a script that satisfies them and a director who is available. Dulquer congratulated Nivin after the August 21 release of *Bethlehem Kudumba Unit* and reiterated interest. They aim for a release next Onam. Meanwhile, Dulquer's action thriller *I'm Game*, directed by Nahas Hidhayath, releases on September 3. It was initially scheduled for Onam before a postponement. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Nivin Pauly and Dulquer Salmaan last shared screen in 2014 in Lal Jose's *Vikramadithyan* and Anjali Menon's *Bangalore Days*, both hits. A reunion carries significant box-office potential in Malayalam cinema, where their combined fan bases are large. The key hurdle is finding a script acceptable to both and a director with matching availability. Dulquer's upcoming release *I'm Game* on September 3 will test his solo drawing power. The next concrete signal to watch is an announcement about the project before Onam 2026. ## Coverage - newindianexpress.com Straight news-style report with no slant, leads with the announcement This brief was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
