The seat matrix, which covers 692 course entries at more than 37 institutions, includes MD, MS, DM, M.Ch. and diploma programmes at colleges including Osmania, Gandhi, Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences and Kakatiya Medical College. Osmania Medical College has the largest allocation with 60 seats each in MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology and MD Paediatrics. Gandhi Medical College has 25 seats in MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology, while NIMS has 21 seats in MD Anaesthesiology. The matrix also covers newer government colleges in Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Suryapet, Siddipet and Ramagundam. The NMC has clarified that the matrix does not include applications for increasing existing intake or introducing new courses, which will be notified later. It warned that admissions beyond the sanctioned capacity would violate the NMC Act, 2019, and attract regulatory action.
