Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has no project locked with Allu Arjun despite earlier speculation, according to m9.news. The report also states that Vanga is in discussions with Mahesh Babu for a possible film, though no official confirmation exists on the story, timeline or production schedule. Animal Park, the sequel to Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, remains confirmed in Vanga's lineup. Times of India adds details on Animal Park, citing Pranay Reddy Vanga, the director's brother. Pranay told NTV Telugu that Vanga will take a six-month break after releasing Spirit, which is scheduled for March 5, 2027. Production on Animal Park could therefore begin in late 2027. Ranbir Kapoor is expected to reprise his role and play a double role in the sequel. The actor's packed schedule also includes Ramayana Part 2, Love and War, and Brahmastra 2, which may affect the Animal Park timeline. Fans on Reddit reacted with mixed views: some expressed concern about the long wait, while others pointed out that KGF's sequel took five years and was highly successful. Ranbir had earlier said Vanga conceived Animal Park during the making of the first film, and the sequel will continue the story.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

m9.news leads with the absence of an Allu Arjun collaboration, framing it as a definitive denial, while Times of India focuses on a concrete timeline from Vanga's brother. The m9 report treats the Mahesh Babu discussion as a rumour, whereas TOI provides named-source confirmation for Animal Park's schedule. The measured reading: Allu Arjun is out for now, Animal Park is confirmed with a target start in late 2027, and the Mahesh Babu project remains unconfirmed. Watch for official announcements from Vanga's team on the Mahesh Babu film.
