Corroboration: 3 independent outlets

Producer Pranay Reddy Vanga has clarified that Prabhas is not using a body double in the upcoming film Spirit. Speaking about the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, Pranay said there is not a single shot featuring a dupe for the actor, as the director does not use body doubles in his films. Prabhas himself is performing all action sequences, the producer confirmed, adding that over 40 per cent of the shooting is complete and the film remains on track for a March 5, 2027 release. The actor, who underwent knee surgery after earlier films, is working up to 18-hour days on the project, according to the producer. However, m9.news reports that recent revelations about Spirit have disappointed some fans. The site says Pranay Reddy Vanga stated the story is set in Hyderabad and is a local cop story, not the large-scale international mafia drama many expected. It also claims the director is trying to keep production costs relatively low. M9.news suggests that subsequent reports about the pre-climax being a highlight may be damage control aimed at restoring lost hype. In contrast, greatandhra.com and telugucinema.com report the body double clarification as straightforward news without questioning scale or budget.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Greatandhra.com and telugucinema.com treat the producer's body-double denial as a straight update on the film's progress, neither questioning the claims nor adding context. M9.news frames the same denial as one element of a larger narrative about hype management, suggesting the producer's earlier comments about a local setting and lower budget have undercut fan expectations. Neither side verifies the producer's claims independently. The practical takeaway is that Spirit's actual scale and budget remain unconfirmed by any independent source until the film releases.
