Jr NTR and director Trivikram Srinivas are collaborating on a mythological film tentatively titled God of War, based on Lord Subramanya Swamy. The project was initially set to begin after NTR completed his current film Dragon, but a shoulder injury suffered by NTR on Dragon's set has delayed shooting. According to m9.news, Trivikram is using the extra time to focus on visual effects and designing the mythological universe, calling it 'the biggest challenge' and aiming to create a world Telugu audiences have not seen. Telugu360.com reports that Dragon is still scheduled for a June 2027 release, meaning NTR must maintain his look and commitments until then, delaying the start of the mythological project.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

The two sources frame Jr NTR's injury differently in their coverage of the Trivikram Srinivas mythological project. m9.news leads with the film's scale and VFX ambition, presenting the injury as a productive delay that gives Trivikram more time for pre-production. Telugu360.com instead highlights the scheduling conflict, noting that NTR will be tied to the 'Dragon' look and commitments until June 2027, raising the question of whether Trivikram will take another quick film in the interim. Neither source explicitly confirms the title 'God of War' as final, though both treat it as the leading candidate. The careful reader should note that NTR's injury appears to extend pre-production rather than halt it, and Trivikram's next move depends on his own production timeline. Watch for Trivikram's decision in the coming months: if he takes another film, the NTR mythological may not begin until late 2027.
