The 2007-batch AGMUT officer supervised the CBI investigation into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and recently rejoined the Delhi Police. She now serves as Joint Commissioner in its Economic Offences Wing. Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai home on June 14, 2020. The CBI took over the case in August that year and, in 2025, submitted closure reports saying it found no evidence of foul play, abetment of suicide or criminal conspiracy.
