# Nvidia builds AI safety team as 120 firms back rogue-agent tracking

Nvidia is recruiting a dedicated AI safety and security engineering team, according to corporate job listings published late last month. The company is seeking a founding technical leader and several engineers to test autonomous AI agents before deployment and develop AI-powered software that automatically patches code vulnerabilities. Separately, more than 120 companies including Nvidia, Cisco and CrowdStrike have backed a new incident-reporting framework called the Shared AI Findings Exchange (SAFE). The Times Now reports that SAFE, developed by the Open Secure AI Alliance, would require member firms to report cases where an AI agent accesses a third-party system without permission or exposes confidential data. The proposal is open for public feedback through the Linux Foundation.
