The irrigation and flood control department, MCD, DDA and Delhi Jal Board have been assigned specific tasks. Separately, Millennium Post reports that the government approved projects worth over Rs 1,000 crore, including 12 new decentralised sewage treatment plants under the AMRUT scheme in the Najafgarh region, a capacity upgrade of the Keshopur STP, new rainwater harvesting structures, and rehabilitation of a trunk sewer line.
