# Old podcast clip resurfaces amid Anupama-Dhruv relationship speculation 2026-08-18T01:57:10+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 3 independent outlets An old podcast clip from October 2025 featuring actors Anupama Parameswaran and Dhruv Vikram has resurfaced on social media, drawing new attention after Anupama described a controlling ex-boyfriend. In the clip, Anupama said Dhruv selected all photos she and the cast of 'Bison Kaalamaadan' posted for promotions. She added, 'In that, I have no voice.' Dhruv responded, asking her not to 'feed fodder' to the host. Anupama later told Dhanya Varma's channel she postponed her engagement and said her marriage with the ex would have ended in divorce. She described the relationship as narcissistic and physically and emotionally destructive. Social media users connected the description to Dhruv, citing the clip and comparing him to his debut role in 'Adithya Varma', the Tamil remake of 'Arjun Reddy'. Dhruv has not directly responded to Anupama's remarks. At an India Today roundtable, he spoke generally about knowing who you are and keeping personal life away from noise, without naming Anupama. Hindustan Times and NDTV report that Anupama has not publicly identified Dhruv as her ex. The speculation continues with no confirmed response from either party. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Hindustan Times and NDTV lead with the viral podcast clip as implied evidence, while Telugucinema.com notes Dhruv has not directly responded. All three outlets treat Anupama's ex-boyfriend as unnamed, yet two frame the clip as substantiating speculation. Dhruv's side, via Telugucinema.com, offers only a general remark on handling public perception, leaving the relationship status unconfirmed. The measured reading: the resurfaced clip is suggestive but not conclusive proof, both the unnamed allegation and the non-response leave the story unresolved pending Anupama's potential naming or Dhruv's direct denial. ## Coverage - hindustantimes.com - ndtv.com - telugucinema.com This story was synthesised by AI from the 3 sources linked above.
