Operation Safed Sagar: The Highest Air Force Mission recorded 2.2 million views and 12.3 million hours watched on Netflix globally from August 3 to 9, according to Binged. The six-episode Hindi series premiered on August 7 and ranked eighth on the platform’s Non-English TV chart. Binged called the debut decent but not especially strong, noting that the show had only a few days to accumulate viewers. The figure was less than half the 5.4 million views recorded by Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web in its opening week. Times Now News, however, described Operation Safed Sagar as a breakout show and reported that its creators researched the 1999 Kargil War by meeting Air Force officers and veterans and travelling to nearly 16,000 feet in Spiti.
