Orkla India’s revenue from operations rose 10.4% year on year to Rs 659 crore in the quarter ended June 2026. Profit increased 11.12% to Rs 87.7 crore, with growth across categories, channels and geographies. The company’s managing director, Sanjay Sharma, told The Economic Times that competition from regional and digital-only brands is driving more experimentation and innovation in food products. Supply chain disruptions linked to the West Asia conflict have eased, Sharma said, with delays falling from 45 days to 15 to 20 days. Orkla is adding protein and other nutritional benefits to products such as batters and ready-to-eat breakfast mixes to appeal to younger consumers seeking healthier choices.
