The Telangana government's Indiramma Housing scheme in Hyderabad's Core Urban Region (CURE) has received 35,125 applications for 7,340 flats across 16 assembly constituencies, as of August 8, 2026. The last date to apply is August 10, 2026. Lottery draws to select beneficiaries are tentatively scheduled for August 20. The flats, priced at Rs 30-58 lakh in the open market, will be allotted for Rs 6 lakh, with a government subsidy of Rs 5 lakh per flat. Each flat has a built-up area of 528 sq ft (carpet area 400 sq ft). Housing Board Vice Chairman VP Gautam said no caste or income certificates are required, and the application fee of Rs 10,000 will be refunded if a flat is not allotted. Construction is expected to be completed within a year.
