Page Industries, the Indian licensee of Jockey and Speedo, reported a 3.5% decline in net profit for the June quarter to Rs 193 crore from Rs 200 crore a year ago. Revenue grew 8% year-on-year, but volume growth of 6% missed estimates, hurt by logistics and manpower constraints in late June, Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) noted. The brokerage said underlying demand was healthy and expects lost sales to be recovered in the September quarter. Nuvama Institutional Equities flagged weak volume growth of 5.7% but said management reaffirmed its FY27 outlook of double-digit volume growth and EBITDA margins of 19, 21%. Both brokerages retained 'Buy' ratings: MOFSL set a target price of Rs 45,000, while Nuvama raised its target to Rs 46,201. Page Industries shares closed at Rs 36,870 on Friday, up 10.4% over six months. Management expects to sustain double-digit volume growth in FY27, supported by the JKY Groove line and a Disney/Marvel collaboration. Investors will watch whether the company meets its volume recovery target in the current quarter.
