Pal, a resident of Noida and originally from Auraiya, went missing on July 20. His body was found two days later in Jaipur Rural. Police traced the case using the cab's last location and arrested five people, including a juvenile. The accused had booked the cab for Rs 6,500 from a hospital in Jasola, Delhi. During the journey, one of them planned to steal the vehicle and persuaded the others. About 40-50 km from Jaipur, they asked Pal to stop at an isolated spot, overpowered and strangled him.
