The re-release of Pawan Kalyan's 2011 gangster drama 'Panja', directed by Vishnu Vardhan, is seeing strong advance bookings. Though the film was a disaster upon its initial release, its re-release scheduled for Pawan Kalyan's birthday has opened with only four shows, yet it has already become a trending title on BookMyShow. As of now, over 2,700 tickets are being sold per hour for the limited screenings. The film's re-release is being handled by Arka Media, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. It remains to be seen what full-fledged numbers the film will achieve by the actual release date.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Pawan Kalyan's filmography includes several box office disappointments in the early 2010s, but his fanbase has remained among the most loyal in Telugu cinema. The strong pre-release response for a film that originally flopped underscores the actor's enduring star power, especially as he transitions into full-time politics as Andhra Pradesh's deputy chief minister. The real test will be whether this enthusiasm sustains into the full release, with the actual ticket sales on the release date being the key number to watch.
