# Pitbull mauls Patiala couple during house visit, video viral

A couple was seriously injured after a Pitbull attacked them while viewing a house in Patiala's Ghuman Nagar on Tuesday evening, according to police and the victims. The CCTV footage of the attack has gone viral on social media. Ankit Sabharwal, a bank manager, and his wife Shifali, a professor, had gone with a property dealer to inspect a house for rent. As they opened the gate latch, the dog lunged at Shifali, biting her arms and legs. Ankit sustained bite injuries on his legs and back while trying to protect her. Shifali underwent surgery and remains under observation. Police said an FIR under Section 291 of the BNS will be filed after receiving her medical report.
