Veteran actor-lyricist Piyush Mishra joined the JPSC-JSSC student protest in Ranchi on August 8, singing his song Aarambh Hai Prachand from the film Gulaal with the crowd. The protest, now in its 16th day, demands action against alleged recruitment exam irregularities, paper leaks, and systemic delays. Mishra said he was moved by the “pain and suffering” in the students’ interviews. He also provided food, tarpaulins, and financial help.
