Actor Saurabh Sachdeva has said that playing it safe leads to bad films. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he argued that uncertainty is cinema’s biggest creative advantage. “If we start playing safe, then we will make bad films,” he said. Sachdeva, known for roles in Animal and Jaane Jaan, acknowledged that business and creativity must coexist. But he warned against reducing films to their box-office numbers. “The numbers are eating the film,” he said. His comments come after the removal of Diljit Dosanjh-starrer Satluj from ZEE5 just two days after its digital release.
