Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a breakfast meeting for over 40 NDA Lok Sabha MPs at his residence on Friday, including rebel Trinamool Congress MPs who joined the NCPI and six Shiv Sena (UBT) defectors. According to ANI, Modi advised them not to remain confined to Lutyens Delhi and to be careful about whom they meet and how they use official letterheads. He also expressed concern over frequent Parliament disruptions, saying they deny talented new MPs a platform. The meeting included three NCPI Muslim MPs who had skipped earlier NDA meets. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde attended, fuelling speculation of a Union Cabinet reshuffle. Modi stressed unity and development of eastern and northeastern states, and urged MPs over 40 to practise yoga and get regular health checkups.
