# Killed your father, now your turn: threat to Zeeshan Siddique’s sister

Bandra police have registered a non-cognisable offence after the sister of NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique complained about a threat audio clip circulating on social media. The clip, posted by an account claiming to be gangster Zeeshan Akhtar, says: "I have killed your father, and now it’s your turn." Zeeshan Siddique did not receive any direct threat. Police are verifying the authenticity of the clip and tracing the IP address from which it was uploaded. The threat comes ten months after Siddique's father, former minister Baba Siddique, was shot dead in October 2024.
