Actor Pooja Bedi has said she will not marry fiancé Maneck Contractor despite being engaged for eight years. In an interview with Vickey Lalwani, Bedi explained that an engagement already signifies the commitment marriage promises. She said signing a marriage certificate only brings the government into a private affair and complicates finances, especially as both have children from previous marriages. Bedi was earlier married to Farhan Furniturewala, with whom she has two children, Alaya F and Omar. Contractor proposed to her in a hot-air balloon in 2019.
