Directed by Priyan Rajendran and produced by R Ravindran under Trident Arts, the film also stars Rakshan and Namritha MV in lead roles. The makers describe the plot as an intriguing rivalry between characters from Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi. The supporting cast includes Singampuli, Vadivukkarasi, Imaan Annachi, Vivek Prasanna, Stalin and Vadivel Murugan. Siddhu Kumar composes the music, with cinematography by Mallikarjun and editing by R Nirmal. Prabhu and Sukanya last worked together in 1995's Mr Madras.
