Noting that 65 per cent of India's population is below 35, Murmu highlighted youth entrepreneurship and the start-up ecosystem. She also praised the armed forces' Operation Sindoor and defended the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan, calling it a decisive step for farmers. The President emphasised sports development under Khelo India and the physical and mental well-being of youth.
