# Prithviraj, Dulquer, Nivin Pauly in Onam 2026 box office clash

Onam 2026 in Kerala will see three major Malayalam films competing for audiences. Dulquer Salmaan's gangster thriller 'I'm Game' and Prithviraj Sukumaran's action crime film 'Khalifa' release on August 20. Nivin Pauly's romantic comedy-drama 'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit' follows on August 21. The three films have a combined estimated budget of around Rs 150 crore, according to the Kerala Film Producers' Association. 'Khalifa' features Mohanlal in a cameo. The trio aim to beat last year's Onam season, where 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' and 'Hridayapoorvam' performed well.
