# Purnia University issues exam form dates for six courses 2026-10-05T10:07:29+00:00 | Governance | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Purnia University has announced the schedule for submitting online examination forms for six exams, including BCA, MCA, MBA and LLB programmes. Students can apply without late fee on 5 and 6 October 2026 through the university’s UMIS portal. On 7 October, applications will be accepted with a late fee of Rs 200. The notification covers BCA second, fourth and sixth semester (June 2026), MCA first semester (December 2025, session 2025-27) and second semester (June 2026, session 2024-26), MBA first semester (December 2025, session 2025-27) and third semester (December 2025, session 2024-26), and LLB second and third part (special) 2026 exams. Exam controller Dr Md Zameerul Alam has urged students to complete the process within the stipulated period and not wait until the last day. Principals of affiliated colleges have been instructed to ensure timely submission by students. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The six-exam window affects thousands of students across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Purnia University, with the tight two-day no-fee window putting pressure on both students and college administrations. The Rs 200 late-fee provision on 7 October offers only one extra day, which may not be enough for those facing technical or logistical issues. The exam controller’s explicit appeal against last-day filing suggests the university expects heavy traffic on its portal. Any student who misses both deadlines will have no further recourse unless the university issues additional instructions. Next step: the application window closes at the end of 7 October, after which late submissions are not guaranteed. ## Coverage - bhaskar.com Straight notification-based reporting with no added framing or opinion This brief was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
