# PVR INOX renamed MIRZAPVR for Mirzapur film release

PVR INOX Limited, Excel Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios have announced a landmark partnership for Mirzapur: The Movie. As part of the deal, PVR INOX will temporarily rebrand select cinemas as 'MIRZAPVR' ahead of the film's release on September 4, 2026. The campaign is anchored by the tagline: 'MIRZAPVR, Bhaukaal Ab Bade Parde Par.' The takeover will cover key PVR INOX locations across India, including Priya Cinema in Delhi, as well as theatres in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow and other cities. Niharika Bijli of PVR INOX said the collaboration aims to turn the film's release into a cultural moment. Vishal Ramchandani, CEO of Excel Entertainment, described the franchise as a cultural phenomenon with a passionate fan following. Actor Ravi Kishan, who plays Babban Yadav in the series, has also stoked anticipation. In a social media video, he said the nation will 'go berserk' when the film releases, calling it a mind-blowing watch. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Mirzapur: The Movie will hit cinemas on September 4, 2026.
