# Qazi Touqeer’s team denies eviction, confirms fever in Bigg Boss 20 2026-10-06T07:51:08+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 3 independent outlets Bigg Boss 20 contestant Qazi Touqeer remains inside the house despite online rumours that he had been evicted due to a dengue diagnosis. The singer's team issued a statement on 6 October saying he has been dealing with fever for the past few days and was taken to the medical room after feeling low on energy. The team said he continues to participate in the show and is in touch with the Bigg Boss team about his health. Earlier on 6 October, social media posts claimed Qazi had been temporarily taken out of the house after being diagnosed with dengue. However, both The Hans India and Times Now report that his team has clarified he is still inside the house. Siasat.com reports that his family issued a similar statement asking fans not to panic. The 20th edition of the show began on 6 September and airs on JioHotstar and Colors TV. ## Indian Opinion Analysis All three outlets report the same core facts: Qazi Touqeer has a fever, was examined in the medical room, and remains inside the Bigg Boss house. The Hans India and Times Now lead with the team's denial of eviction rumours, treating the viral claims as unsubstantiated. Siasat.com gives more space to the eviction and dengue speculation, including embedded social media posts, before presenting the family's clarification. The uniform reliance on Team Qazi's statement means the coverage differs only in how prominently the rumours are displayed. No outlet independently verifies the diagnosis or the reason for the fever, so readers should treat the dengue claim as unconfirmed hearsay until the show's medical team or Qazi himself speaks directly. ## Coverage Coverage: 3 sources, 2 neutral, 1 sensationalist - thehansindia.com (neutral report) Leads with the team statement, no eviction speculation - siasat.com (sensationalist) Leads with eviction rumours and dengue speculation - timesnownews.com (neutral report) Fact-checks rumours then presents team statement This brief was synthesised by AI from the 3 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
