Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi said his favourite Bharatiya Janata Party politician is former Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh. Gandhi made the remark during an 'Ask Me Anything' session on Instagram on August 6, part of a broader outreach to Gen Z students after the NEET paper leak protests. "Definitely, Captain Amarinder Singh. I get along with him. He is cool," Gandhi said. He praised Singh's expertise in military history and called him "uncle".
