# KP Trust clears Rahul Gandhi’s Prayagraj event with conditions

The KP Trust has allowed Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ student interaction at its Prayagraj ground on August 8, a day after withdrawing permission. Acting trust president Jitendra Nath Chaudhary said organisers must ensure classes and academic work are not disrupted and obtain the district magistrate’s permission. The trust had cited an Allahabad High Court order restricting use of the KP College ground to sports and educational activities, along with waterlogging after rain. Congress leaders accused the Uttar Pradesh administration of pressuring the venue provider and said the programme would proceed. The party says Gandhi is scheduled to reach the ground after visiting Anand Bhavan. The administration had not commented, Hindustan Times reported.
