The Rau police raided Raja Bhoj Dhaba on CAT Road on the night of August 8 and found guests drinking alcohol without the required permits. According to ACP Nidhi Saxena, six people including dhaba manager Sachin Raghuvanshi and operator Vipin Raghuvanshi were booked under the Excise Act. Police also noted that employee details had not been submitted to the station. The Free Press Journal reports five persons were arrested. The brothers were produced before a court and sent to jail. Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife Sonam had travelled from Indore to Meghalaya for their honeymoon in May 2025. The couple went missing, and Raja's body was later found in a gorge. The investigation alleged that Sonam conspired with her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha to have Raja killed.
