# Rajasthan CM seeks Bengaluru land for Rajasthan Bhawan

Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has written to Karnataka counterpart DK Shivakumar asking for 3,000 sq m of land in central Bengaluru to build a Rajasthan Bhawan. The cultural centre would offer Rajasthani hospitality and art to the large migrant community from the western state, the Times of India reports. Sharma chairs the Rajasthan Foundation, which will execute the project. Similar Bhawans exist in Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh. BJP's Karnataka co-convenor Bharat Kumar Jain said 5,000 Rajasthanis in the city would benefit. Shivakumar is yet to reply.
