Corroboration: 2 independent outlets

Lyricist Vairamuthu has said that Rajinikanth’s autobiography, currently in the works, may be released in both Tamil and English. In a post on X on 12 October, Vairamuthu recounted his recent meeting with the actor, whom he visited to wish ahead of the release of Jailer 2. He said they discussed art and life but not politics. Vairamuthu said he asked Rajinikanth when the autobiography would come out. ‘Work is underway. It will be out soon,’ Rajinikanth replied, according to Vairamuthu. The lyricist added that the actor hinted at a bilingual release. Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is scheduled to hit theatres on 15 October with a U/A certificate from the CBFC.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Both Orissa Post and Great Andhra report the same facts verbatim from Vairamuthu’s X post on Rajinikanth’s autobiography. Neither outlet adds independent reporting or editorial framing. The sole newsworthy detail both carry is Vairamuthu’s account that Rajinikanth confirmed the autobiography is underway and that it may be released in Tamil and English. The coverage is uniform straight reporting with no discernible slant. The autobiography’s release date and publisher remain unspecified in both versions.
