Ram Charan Teja Akula and Shanvi Reddy Nimma won the boys’ and girls’ singles titles at the 12th Telangana State Sub-Junior (Under-13) Badminton Championship on Sunday. The tournament was held at A Zone Elite Badminton Academy in Serilingampally, Hyderabad. In the boys’ final, Ram Charan Teja defeated Deepak Naidu Gunishetty 4-3 after his opponent retired due to injury. Shanvi Reddy beat Saina Sharma 15-7, 15-11 to claim the girls’ title. Mokshagna Surpur and Venkat Yerneni won the boys’ doubles; M. Sai Komerally and Vedhitha Reddy won the girls’ doubles.
