# RBI to auction Rs 24,000 crore in T-bills on August 12

The Reserve Bank of India will auction Government of India Treasury Bills worth Rs 24,000 crore on August 12, 2026. The auction includes 91-day, 182-day and 364-day T-bills, with notified amounts of Rs 9,000 crore, Rs 8,000 crore and Rs 7,000 crore respectively. Settlement will be on August 13. The auction is price-based using the multiple price method. Bids can be submitted electronically on the RBI's E-Kuber system. Non-competitive bids are open to specified entities including retail investors via the RBI Retail Direct portal. Allocation for retail non-competitive bids is capped at 5% of the notified amount.
