# Revanth Reddy seeks faster US visas and Telangana investment

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor in New Delhi on Wednesday. He sought simpler H-1B visa processing, renewals and stamping, more interview slots, faster applications and more student visas for people from Telangana. He also raised concerns about the safety and welfare of Telangana students in the United States. Reddy discussed investment and cooperation in information technology, artificial intelligence, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, startups, research and advanced technologies. He proposed university partnerships, student exchanges and research initiatives. Telangana’s Chief Minister’s Office said Gor assured full cooperation in expanding trade, investment, cultural exchanges and people-to-people ties. The meeting itself does not change US visa rules or guarantee immediate investment.
