# ACB catches revenue officials taking bribes in Telangana, Kerala

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Telangana caught a revenue inspector taking ₹30,000 as part of a ₹40,000 bribe in Jagtial district. Manchikatla Rahul, Revenue Inspector at Beerpur, allegedly demanded ₹50,000 for a land survey, then reduced it. In Kerala, the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) arrested Kanayannur tahsildar Jose Antony Hartis and two agents for demanding ₹10 lakh from a property owner to settle a complaint and facilitate land conversion. The agents were caught accepting ₹2 lakh cash and a cheque for ₹8 lakh. The VACB is probing the role of more officials.
